About us
Horse Riding Club Hercules
Our story
From one horse to a club conquering Croatia
Konjički klub Hercules was founded in 2010 in the heart of Baranja, in Bilje - one of Croatia's most beautiful regions, on the edge of Kopački rit Nature Park. The club's name is no coincidence: Hercules was the very first horse to set foot on our grounds, forever marking our journey.
What began as a modest idea among a few horse lovers grew within just a few years into one of Croatia's most successful equestrian clubs. Today we compete internationally, train new generations of riders, and write a new chapter of our story every season.

The people behind Hercules

Viktorija
Head trainer
Viktorija Bulić is one of the most prominent figures in Croatian endurance riding - a long-standing competitor, trainer and organiser of equestrian competitions from Osijek. She is among the pioneers of the systematic development of the endurance discipline in eastern Croatia, with a particular emphasis on competitive, recreational and therapeutic riding, and the education of young riders.
As an active competitor, she raced on endurance circuits under the auspices of the Croatian Equestrian Federation for many years, achieving notable results including appearances at Croatia Cup competitions in the senior category.
In 2010 she founded Horse Riding Club Hercules, which under her leadership has become a recognised centre of endurance sport in Slavonia and Baranja. She holds an FEI Level 1 Trainer licence and is a certified equestrian tourist guide through ENGEA Croatia.
She has also distinguished herself as an organiser of equestrian events and endurance races, most notably the “Kneževi Vinogradi” event in 2013. She has worked closely with the Croatian Equestrian Federation, stewards and veterinary teams on the development and promotion of the endurance discipline.
As a coach of young athletes, she has achieved remarkable results with rider Maja Taslidžić, who under her guidance won junior gold at the Balkan Championship in Barban and competed as the sole Croatian representative in endurance riding at the World Championship for Young Riders 2025 in Romania.
She is also recognised for her work in popularising equestrian sport among children and young people, and for connecting sport with the tourism and cultural offering of the Baranja region. Through her achievements as a competitor, organiser and trainer, she has made a lasting contribution to the development of endurance riding in Croatia.
Ana
Trainer assistant
Ana works with the club's youngest members, and her patience and warmth are the first thing children notice when they arrive for a lesson. Through play and simple exercises, she teaches them to approach the horse without fear, get to know it, and learn the basics before their first time in the saddle.
For many children in the club, Ana is the person they rode with for the very first time - and the one who sparked their love of horses.
Mission & values
Safety first
Every rider, regardless of experience, goes through a structured introduction programme. Horses are carefully selected, equipment regularly maintained, and our trainers always present. Safety is not a compromise - it is our foundation.
Love for horses
A horse is not a tool - it is a partner. At Hercules we believe that a true bond between rider and horse is built on respect, patience and understanding. Every horse in our care lives in conditions that meet its natural needs.
Education & growth
From first steps in riding to licensed competitors - we track every step of progress. Our programmes are structured to HKS standards, and every participant receives an individualised approach adapted to their pace and goals.
